This was a fun upcycle project
Parts list Starting from the ground up. The legs where off a dust collector I Scraped 4 years ago. Two bags of premix concrete were donated.
Floor joists were a mixture of 150mm x 40 mm pine I scrounged out of a
office with the only bought bit were a
couple of sticks that cost $50.00.
All the wall framing was scrounged out of another pull down
The corrugated iron cladding was $15.00 from a salvage yard.
Paving under coupe was 600x600 slabs which were sourced from two friend’s
houses, I had to buy 5 at $3.00 each so $15.00.
All the floorboards for veranda and porch were scrounged of Facebook as
was decking.
Roof beams and purlins were scrounged of Facebook and was a pulled down patio.
Flashing for roof ends were found dumped side of the road with the
exception of one length than came from a salvage yard cost $4.00,
Front weatherboard cladding was stripped down pallets scrounged from
several businesses, front door and roosts was made out of a pair of gates that were thrown
out roadside pickup,
managed to salvage the hinges also
Egg collection box hinges and floor, came off second gate waterproof
board for lid and separating the boxes was donated from Regency Cabinets in
Rockingham,
Nuts bolt sand tek screws were mostly second hand junk from pull downs,
estimated cost of new stuff about $15.00 market place.
