Brookton
The original building was constructed in 1910, the Brookton Post Office was established to serve the growing Wheatbelt community and quickly became an important centre for postal and telephone services.
Located on Robinson Road, the original building reflected the town's steady growth during the early twentieth century and included residential quarters for the postmaster.
In the late 1950s, a new post office was constructed at the same site, while the original residence was retained behind the building.
For more than a century, the Brookton Post Office has played a vital role in connecting the local community with the rest of Western Australia.
Today, it continues to operate as a post office and remains an important part of Brookton's heritage streetscape, reflecting the town's long history of communication and community service.
