Butternuts Snaps

Ingredients
 2 tbs butter
 1 cup sugar
 1 egg
 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
 1 pinch salt
 1 1/2 cup plain flour
 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
 1 cup desiccated coconut
 2 tbs golden syrup
 1 tbs milk 

Method

 1 Preheat oven to 180C (fan-forced 160C).
 2 Mix all ingredients together well.
 3 Roll dough into small balls and place on greased tray.
 4 Bake for 15 minutes, or until brown.
