Cue
Built between 1895 and 1896 by contractor Jas Dawson, the post office was part of the larger Cue Public Buildings complex.
Designed in a prominent Victorian Georgian style,
it housed the Post and Telegraph Office, the postmaster's quarters, the Warden's Court, and holding cells.
The clock tower was added in 1898, after being promised to Cue's Mayor William Gale by Sir John Forrest.
For many years, post office staff were tasked with manually climbing the tower to wind the clock.
Today, it operates as the Cue Community and Visitor Centre.
