The Wickepin Post Office, located at 26 Wogolin Rd, was constructed from 1912 following the town’s gazettal in 1909.
The land was donated by E.B. Johnson, with tenders called on 25 May 1912. A daily mail service to Perth was established in 1918.
The site became an unofficial post office in 1980, managed by the Thompson family after privatisation.
